L-Threonine CAS NO 72-19-5 for Pharma Grade (USP)
Usage:
As feed nutritional supplement, L-threonine (Abbreviated Thr) is usually added in the fodder for piglet and poultry. It is the second limiting amino acid in swine feed and the third limiting amino acid in poultry feed.
1. Mainly used as a dietary supplement.
2. Used as feed nutritional supplement. It is usually added in the fodder for piglet and poultry. It is the second limiting amino acid in swine feed and the third limiting amino acid in poultry feed.
3. Used as nutritional supplement and used in the preparation of compound amino acid transfusion.
4. Used in adjuvant therapy of peptic ulcer and also used in curing of anemia, angina, aortitis, cardiac insufficiency and other diseases of cardiovascular system.
L-Threonine is made by microbial fermentation with glucose as raw materials, and then gets refined after membrane filtration, concentration, crystallization, drying and other processes. Based on microbial fermentation, L-threonine is safe and reliable without toxic side residues and available in a variety of feed (including export-oriented farming enterprises feed) for safe use. As an essential amino acid, L-Threonine is widely applied in feed additives, food supplements and medicine and so on.
As a feed additive, L-threonine is a powerful tool helping improve feed quality and reduce feed costs for feed producers. L-Threonine is extensively added to piglet feed, pig feed, chicken feed, shrimp feed and eel feed in conjunction with lysine generally. L-Threonine plays its role in many ways like assisting balance building of amino acids to accelerate growth, improving meat quality, gaining weight and leaning meat percentage, lowing feed conversion ratio, sharpening nutritional value of feedstuff having a poor digestibility of amino acid, helping conserve proteins resources and reduce the cost of feedstuff via cutting down proteins to be added in feed, lessening nitrogen expelled out in livestock manure, urine and ammonia concentration as well as its release rate in livestock and poultry sheds, and contributing to consolidate young animals’ immune system to resist disease.
